Kurumba Resort Maldives, Vihamanafushi, North Male Atoll.
We flew off from Singapore Changi International Aiport at 10:30 in the morning (local time) and arrived in Male at close to noon (local time as well). Although the aircraft an SQ Boeing 772 that served this route was pretty worn and torn, it still was a decent flight to say the least.
After landing at the airport and clearing immigration, we had to board a ten minute speedboat ride to where the Kurumba Resort was located. Kurumba, the oldest resort in Maldives to date, opened for more than four decades now looked surprisingly neat and well kept when we arrived. Due to the resort being the oldest, they offered their guests less than say Club Med or Conrad would offer.
(Private yatch to charter for excursions and airport transfers for a fee)
